Influence of Tubular Braid’s Structures on Wicking Behaviours: An Experimental Investigation

چکیده
Abstract Avoiding wicking in a suture to recover the wound and avoid infection is critical. In this paper, capillary rise method applied evaluate property of tubular braided structures. Effects braid’s structural parameters, namely braid angle, interlacement pattern, axis, position yarns parallel axis are investigated. The results indicate that with increase height descends has greatest effect on among studied parameters. It also observed under same Two over larger than regular braid. Moreover, presence core structure increases height. Among does not have significant behavior. statistical study confirm experimental data show it better use biaxial structures pattern production sutures. This work only examines some factors vital feature but underlines importance choosing suture. Graphical abstract
